This article describes the steps to access our web conference system for your online or virtual course.

Supported Browsers

Latest version of Chrome

Latest version of Firefox

Latest version of Opera

Latest Version of Safari

Our conference system will not work with Microsoft Internet Explorer or Edge.

Supported Browsers – Mobile

iOS – use Safari (iOS 12.2 or higher is required)

Android – use Google Chrome (Android 8.0 or higher is required)

If Your Don’t Have These Browsers

We recommend downloading one of the above browsers. 

The Web Conference System

Our web conferencing system is accessed using a link that you will have received as part of your joining instructions or confirmation email from us.

To access, you will need 2 things:

  • The link provided
  • An access code

On clicking/visiting the link for your course, you will be presented with a screen to input your access code.

Add the join code from your joining instructions or confirmation email in to the box and click Enter.

Next, you will be asked for your name.

Type your name then click join. You should now have access to the course.

If you have joined too early (before the trainer) you will be asked to hold. You will join automatically once the trainer joins.

If it gets close to the start time but this message hasn’t changed then you can try refreshing your page to force a reconnect.

Setting Up Audio and Video

Our online courses are interactive and to get the very best out of them you should as a minimum allow us to hear you. We would like to see you too, so it’s worth allowing access to your camera.

On connecting to the meeting room you will be presented with an option of how you would like to join:

  • Microphone
  • Listen Only

Select Microphone. If you browser prompts for permission to access your microphone click allow.

You will then be asked to complete an audio test. Speak a few words and if you can hear yourself you are good to go. Click the green thumbs up icon to continue.

If you can’t, click the red thumbs down icon and adjust your audio settings and click retry.

You should now have access to the meeting room.

Share Your Camera

To use your camera so we can see you, click the camera icon under the main presentation.

If your browser asks for permission to connect the camera, click allow.

Pick the camera you would like to use and click Start Sharing.

That’s It! You’re good to go
